Kōdō (1899-1973) was a designer and artist. Some of his artwork was published in woodblock-printed picture books. The titles of three books which included pictures of flowers and (or) birds are shown below. Click on a title to see these pictures. Kōdō's designs were strongly influenced by the Rinpa style of Japanese art made famous by Kōrin Ogata (1658-1716).
